Brijwasi Sweets, Mumbai’s premier Indian sweets confectioner and retailer, was first established in 1946. Our first retail outlet opened at Kalbadevi, and over the last 60 years our business has expanded from a sole mithai shop to several outlets that serve namkeen, hot snacks, chaat and traditional beverages.
In 2006, the Bankelal Group was pleased to announce that it had been established as an individual identity, under the name of Brijwasi Sweets India Pvt. Ltd. The Bankelal Group is the founder and registered trademark owner of the brand. In 2004 two new stores were established at Lokhandwala and Powai.
In addition to the stores, Brijwasi sweets has also been showcasing at food courts at exhibitions such as Marwar, The Mega Wedding Show and Shaadi.com. An excellent response has encouraged us to continue our involvement in such exhibitions.
Customer loyalty to the brand has also been built on the consistent quality of Brijwasi products which have retained their original and traditional taste over the years. All our products comply with stringent FDA norms and the company is careful to ensure that all safety rules are strictly complied.
We also use only the best quality ingredients in the preparation of our products, and each ingredient is sourced and imported from the finest in the world. Our almonds, pistachios, cashewnuts, khajur, figs, raisins and saffron come to you directly from source. Even the ghee and sugar, essential ingredients in sweet making is of premium quality. The mawa used in the process is freshly made in house each day.
We offer a wide range of products and our chefs are constantly churning out new varieties throughout the year. In an effort to reach out to our calorie conscious patrons we have introduced pure Sugarfree and Diet sweets.
